Senior Session Tip | Making your session unique

One thing we hear all the time from our seniors is, I want to do something different. And we completely get that! We LOVE that actually!

Maybe you are really into a sport, or play an instrument and incorporating those type of things is always a fun idea. We actually have a blog post all about that here. But today’s post is for those of you that want something fun, unique and maybe isn’t related to a specific activity or hobby you love. So with that in mind we thought we would give you a list of some great props/location ideas that can give your session the little bit of unique flare that you are hoping for.  Or maybe you have an idea of your own, we would love to hear it and incorporate it into your senior session.

  • Pop
  • Ice Cream
  • Cotton Candy
  • Sun Glasses
  • College Gear
  • Bouquet of Flowers
  • Floral Crowns (Someone please do this! I envision a grassy field with a maxi dress, ahh I can picture it now!)
  • Map/Globe
  • Lemonade/Icee
  • Books
  • Vintage Graphic T-Shirt
  • Bubble Gum
  • Donuts

You see the possibilities are endless and sometimes they are planned and sometimes unique pictures are spur of the moment like Rileigh’s were. We just happened to drive down Main Street in Quincy and told her we thought it would be fun to do some pictures outside the popcorn place and she said, “Oh my gosh yes! I actually work there.”  And so these fun photos outside Popp’n on Maine happened! How perfect is that?
