Senior Tip | Sports & Hobby Sessions

Today we are talking all about incorporating a sport or hobby into your senior session. This is a great way to add a little personal flare to your session. Love baseball? Let’s head to the baseball field. Play the guitar? Bring it along! Maybe you are a cheerleader, let’s show that school spirit! Whatever your passion, let’s incorporate it! I promise you won’t regret it. And  20 years from now you can look back and remember just how much that sport or hobby meant to you.

Now let’s say you have decided to incorporate a sport or hobby. Here are some things to remember when preparing for your session.

  • Make sure you get your props ready. Sports equipment, instruments, jerseys make sure it’s all clean and ready to go!
  • Ask a coach for your jersey if you don’t already have it.
  • Locations: Be sure we have access to the school gym if we have discussed using that.
  • Mini Session vs. During your regular session: A lot of times seniors will choose to do these sports/hobby sessions as a mini session on a different day than their regular session so we can focus all of our attention on those specific shots. Or if you just want a few shots with your sports gear than we can most certainly do that during your regular session. It all depends how much or little you want.

We would love to chat with you about what you might want to incorporate into your senior session. We LOVE making each senior’s session unique to them and their interests. That is what makes each session special! Shoot us a message and we can talk about your session.
