Jordan & Emily | Macomb, IL

The forecast for the week leading up to Jordan and Emily’s wedding wasn’t looking good for the beautiful outdoor photos they both dreamed of.  It was calling for 100% chance of rain and it wasn’t changing.  I’d talked to Jordan that week and told him that I still had hope – the weather can always change.  But just in case we scouted out both indoor and outdoor photo locations so we were prepared.  And sure enough come Saturday morning the forecast had removed most of the rain, and as the day progressed it even ended up being SUNNY, the one thing we hadn’t prepared for but made the most beautiful pictures. But more important than the beautiful weather that they ended up having was the BEAUTIFUL ceremony they had.  It was one of the most God honoring ceremonys I have ever been to.  My absolute favorite part was when they chose to forgo a music special like most ceremonys and have a time of worship instead.  Jordan is the very first friend I remember having as a child, so I have grown up along side the Henry Family, and saw first hand the faith based home they have. So as I sat on the front steps taking pictures of this beautiful time of worship I couldn’t help but tear up as I saw the legacy that this family has built unfold in the marriage of Jordan and Emily.  I am so excited to watch them serve God together as husband and wife.
Jordan & Emily: Thank you for letting us be a part of your day, and we hope you enjoy these favorites from your wedding day!
