It is hard to believe that it’s already time to be kicking off our 2018 wedding season. This CRAZY Illinois weather, I mean…what happened to spring??? But wedding season is here, and we’re tracking forecasts and praying for warmer weather! And let’s just be honest, mother nature hasn’t given us many glimpses of reasonable weekend weather!!! So in true spring fashion (April showers bring May flowers) there was rain in the forecast for Roy & Anne’s big day. Though I think everyone was a little worried about whether we would get outside for pictures we couldn’t have asked for a better day! It rained all morning and stopped just in time for the ceremony and didn’t start again until later that night! What a BLESSING. We got to take all of the portraits outside and even caught some pretty glow before sunset.  Roy and Anne were such troopers…the breezy bluff had a chill in the air but the whole wedding party was just great!
Roy and Anne are the sweetest couple, and we had so much fun working with them and their wedding party.  It truly felt like working with close friends! Anne found us through photographing two of her close friend’s weddings, so it was very special to get to be a part of their day as well. It is always such an honor when brides tell their friends about us.

These three girls are so special to us. We have had the privilege of photographing each of their weddings. We started with Allison in 2016, Kayla last year and Anne this year. It has been an absolute blast watching each of their personalities shine through their wedding day; each day beautiful and unique to each of them. It was so neat to get to photograph this “ring” picture for this trio…it has become a wedding day tradition for them. Personal referrals are truly so special to us and we are so glad that each of these girls trusted us with their big day.
