Winter weddings are a little unpredictable when it comes to the weather, especially in Illinois! With all the snow we had in November we were all hoping we would have a beautiful blanket of snow on the tress for Brad & Michelle’s December wedding, but the weather had different plans. The week before their wedding we had a blizzard, and then one week later it was 60 and supposed to rain all day, there were even tornadoes around the area. (Talk about bi-polar weather!) Luckily, Quincy dodged all the bad weather and it was beautiful all day. We got to be outside for pictures and without freezing! How many times can you say that for a December wedding?!?! And even though mother nature didn’t give us the snow we were hoping for Michelle had the most perfect winter wedding exit planned. They had a snow machine blowing snow as they exited the church instead of the traditional bubbles or confetti, how perfect is that?!?! It has to be one of my favorite ideas to date. (Now the wedding party that was getting covered in the fake snow may have different opinions on that, but it made for beautiful pictures!)
Michelle & Brad: Your day was amazing, and we’re just so thankful we got to be a part! We hope your wedding day was everything you dreamed it to be and more! We wish you all the best as you start off your married life together, and hope you guys enjoy this little peek into your beautiful day!
