Megan and Rickey are another extra special couple to us. (It’s the year of extra special couples: high school friends, family friends and even family!)  Rickey and I were friends growing up and our families were close family friends. Most Superbowl Sundays and New Year’s Eves were spent at his house.  And though Megan hasn’t known us as long, she worked with my mom at the local high school for a several years and she is just the sweetest! So when Megan asked us to be their wedding photographer, it was no question! Of course we wanted to be there and capture their special day.

They are getting married at Lakeview outside of Camp Point, IL so they wanted to do some of their engagement pictures there too, and we loved that idea! There are so many spots to take pictures out there. (side note: it is a beautiful location and Sarah, the owner, takes awesome care of her brides.
